About us
Built by PC gamers, for PC gamers
NewBottleneckCalc is a free toolbox that helps you understand whether your CPU and GPU are balanced, how much FPS you should expect, and what to upgrade next.
Why we built this
Most online bottleneck calculators give one vague percentage and call it a day. That number ignores resolution, game engine, RAM speed, and the GPU you actually use. We wanted a tool that gives a clear, honest answer for your exact build, in plain English.
Whether you are pairing a Ryzen 5 with an RTX 4070 or upgrading an old i5 build, our calculators give you a result you can act on without selling you anything.
What makes it different
Real benchmark patterns
Our scoring uses public CPU and GPU benchmark trends, not random multipliers. Numbers reflect how parts actually behave in modern games.
Resolution aware
A bottleneck at 1080p often disappears at 1440p or 4K. Every tool here understands that and shows realistic results for your monitor.
Free and private
No login, no tracking accounts, no paywalls. We do not sell hardware, so the advice is not pushed by any brand.
Updated for 2026
We track new CPUs, GPUs, and game engines so the calculator stays accurate with the latest RTX 50, Radeon, Ryzen, and Core Ultra parts.
How we keep it free
The site runs on a tiny edge backend with minimal, non-intrusive ads. We do not take affiliate money to push specific brands, and we do not run sponsored winner comparisons. If a tool ever becomes paid, the existing free version stays free.
